Humble beginnings

Jollie Beads was created out of a love for bracelets. Everywhere I went I would buy a bracelet as a reminder but my biggest bugbare was that they never fitted my tiny wrists. So in May 2023 after yet another bracelet that I lost after it fell off when taking off a coat I decided to buy some beads and make one myself.

Cerca back to April 24 when I met Lucy at Pickled Ginger gift shop in Rowlands Gill. Lucy gave the push I needed to start selling my bracelets and within a week I’d made 20 bracelets to sell at Pickled Ginger.

Since then I’ve sold my bracelets to almost everyone I work with, family, friends, to the people at markets at the South Causey Inn, Christmas markets and even had the privilege of making bespoke bracelets for wedding favours and an amazing charity, Megan’s Rose of Hope.

I can’t explain that amazing feeling I get when someone says they like my bracelets, the designs or even when they buy one! I am so grateful and a massive thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way.
